A Couple of Things

DRIVERS:

Yes, I know that you all are really probably SICK of hearing about this topic from me, HOWEVER, I have some really important news to pass along.  Remember friend #1 and how she (I will call her BAF because those are the letters on her license plate) will NOT move from the hammer lane until she is past the next to last exit before ours (we both get off at the same exit).  Well the other morning I was on my way to drop Regan off and she was coming towards me (South), first of all she was actually passing someone (which she does do on the main route, however she does it slowly and has plenty of space to move over between passings), BUT she was passing someone by using the middle turning lane.  Let me explain this a little.  The middle turning lane USED to be the 2nd driving lane going South, however they changed it last FALL to a turning lane for North and South drivers.  Seriously, can I just WTF???

AZALEAS:

My thrid bud is taking FOREVER to open, however I see that she has 2 more buds coming.  I’m really tickled pink.  I was checking out my other little bush (I bought 2 - 1 gallon azaleas, and 1 - 3 gallon azalea), and I noticed it is getting chewed on quite a bit.  I’m not happy.  I will have to do something about that.  Anyone have a green thumb that knows about azaleas?  I know I need to do some research but if you could help me out now - that would be cool.

Mr. NTH (Not The Husband):

I seem to see this guy’s car EVERYWHERE.  Yesterday, we (co-workers) went to lunch downtown and as I’m driving back to the office, I see Mr. NTH’s car parked on the street at yet another house.  Seriously people, can you say either drug addict or sexual deviant?  Oh, and I passed his wife this morning on my way into work.  Oh, and he was over at the prosti-tots house (across the street) last night for a quick visit.  He didn’t stay the night this time.  However he was there the other morning.   Drugs or sex?  What is your take?

Strictly Random

I finally got hit with another cold and it is tricky with me because I typically get bronchitis so I’m very watchful of what is going on with my body in the early days to figure out if I need to go to the doctor or not.  I’m fairly certain at this time that it is in fact only a cold - to which I’m thankful.  I just hate all the nose blowing beacause I simply cannot let my nose ooze, so after a box and a half of puffs and looking like rudolph, I will hopefully be better in the nose department soon.

I finally had a MAJOR break through with getting Regan to not freak out on me after I leave her room at night.  Monday night lasted 15 minutes and yesterday she had no issues with Daddy putting her down (I was out of commission and sleeping).  Tonight I got 2 questions and was told it was okay for me to go downstairs.  Picking and choosing my battles, I could care less if she told me I could do something as long as EXCORCIST REGAN doesn’t visit here again for a very long time.

That is about all the randomness that I can think of for the moment.  I hope to be back blogging a bit more regularly soon.

Bunch of Randomness

On our way to ‘coffee’ this morning - policemen were the topic of conversation AGAIN?  Is she trying to jinx me??  I’ve gotten my share of tickets, seriously I don’t need anymore - E.V.E.R.

2 successes on the potty today, plus she is in underwear.  1 accident but I don’t even know if she peed or if some just leaked out b/c it wasn’t much.  I did a pull-up for naptime, 1st day in undies and all that good stuff, thought I would save her and I the hassle of cleaning up the bed today.

I’m having a painting party in early March.  I have gotten quite a few responses back from the ‘girls’. Very exciting.  It will be a paint and then we can party/girls night in kind of thing!  I have the living/dining room and MAYBE the upstairs bathroom - we will see how ambitious we get.

2nd consecutive afternoon with no nap.  Last night I put someone to bed an hour early.  She was still awake around 8:40 but it would have been 9:40 so, I might have to use that tactic again tonight - plus a bath!

Oh, and I now live with WHINY!  Well at least while we are out in public - at home she is better today.  Did the moon go around the sun or what?

Day 7

I’m trying to learn more about my blog and what I can do with it.  I would like to attach some other things (button links) to my sidebar and I just haven’t gotten that far yet.  I really like Em’s christmas countdown on hers.

I need to research a bit more.

There are some backgrounds that I would love to use but I would use a different picture.  I want to learn how to upload a new picture into the background. 

I need to learn the terminology better too.  I just don’t feel like I have enough time to do all that right now.  Hopefully once Jan/Feb get here I may be able to devote more time to my blog!

Hopefully I will have a more meaningful post later today!!  This one was definitely RANDOM!
