Last day for NaBloPoMo
Wow, we all made it. Some of us blanked out a day but seriously I think that at most we only missed a day!!! CONGRATS to everyone that participated.
I just want to say that I really enjoyed the challenge this month (and believe me, some days it was a challenge), however it has gotten me in the swing of things and made me realize how cool it is to just share with everyone. I wish that I had more time right now to really learn more about blogging and everything that I can do with it, but it is working for me so far.
I want to thank all of you that comment here. It warms my heart to know that someone out there is checking up on me and enjoying what I do share – no matter how silly or how lame a post might be.
The nice thing is that I feel like the challenge has set me up for some good ideas for next month. We will just see.
I hope that November has been good to you all, I look forward to sharing December and Christmas with you all as well.
Peace and love!
Day 1
So, I’m a bit perturbed by some recent events but I will work it out.
I will have Halloween pics later this week as well. Sorry I didn’t just post them last night but since I have been feeling a little rough, bed is my favorite place right now.
Okay, the line that I have always known that I would have in my song for Regan is…..
10 perfect fingers and 10 precious toes.
Now I just need to add on. I think at one time I had more written down but she has grown so fast and the song would just go on forever if I included all the amazing things that I see from her day after day. So, I need to focus and try and get this completed. Hopefully the NaBloPoMo challenge will help me do this.
Happy Halloween
Of course it feels lame to use that as a post but hey, I’m not all the way together today.
Regan got upset last night because I told her that it was Halloween tomorrow and she started crying after I walked out of her room. Since I was standing there I went back in to find out what the problem was. “I’m scared of the dark” she said. I told her that she has never been scared of her bedroom and that she has a nightlight.
SNAP!
The 2 watt lightbulb went off and I realized what she was talking about. I ask her “Did it scare you when I brought up Halloween?” She nods her head. I tell her that we will Trick or Treat during the light and that her Best Friend Ellie is coming to Trick or Treat with her. She seemed okay with that aspect. I hope that it all works out!
Remember the National Blog Posting Month Challenge for November coming up. Kelly has gotten into the spirit of the challenge and will be joining in the fun. Thank you Em for drawing it to our attention!
