I thought about just letting this go for now? There are some of you that I know that are checking in, then there are the others of you that I’m not sure who you are.

Do you all want me to still update or eh?

Mostly at this point just because school is such a big part of my life that is mostly what I discuss here. I haven’t said much about Regan because she is your typical moody 4 year old girl, (then again, my husband is the typical moody 30+ year old – and yes, there are days they both act the same way). She is having some rougher days in school lately (had another Verbal Warning the other day for not listening to the teacher about little things). Today was picture day, I talked to the teacher and she said that she is just trying to get they prep’d for Kindergarten because obviously the kids won’t have as much leniency there as they tend too in Pre-K.

Hubby is good. Still working (can I get a whoo whoo?!), and still a great person! (Big WHOOT!)

I’m good, let’s see, Chapter 12 “real” test – 100. Chapter 13 – Shampooing chapter – review test, 100 and the same on the Chapter test. Onto Chapter 14, Haircutting – yeah, actually getting to some career learning. I like this Chapter so far as well. There is a TON of information however it is all good – OBVIOUSLY this is all stuff that I will HAVE to know for State Boards so I’m excited about it all.

Oh, I did take pictures recently of some of the hairstyles I have done. I was surprised that my cornrows turned out as well as they did so I just took pictures of everything that I had on my desk. I will hopefully download those tonight – getting them here though will be a little bit longer (maybe Monday when I’m off again!)

Getting My Lists Made Up

It’s that time of year to figure out what to get for all the loved ones.  This year seems especially difficult and I have no idea why.  Last night David and I sat down and looked through some websites that he had saved.  But personally to me, nothing really jumped out at me.

I have a TON of stuff saved from shopping through the year for Regan.  However, it is all in my closet and I need time to go through everything and figure out what I have.  Then I’m going to have to figure out what to tell other people and also figure out something to get her from Santa.

I started a theme for some people but I don’t necessarily want to theme everyone.  It seems hard this year.

Any ideas, any suggestions of what you are doing for gifts this year?  It would be very helpful.  Just tell me what you want – that would make it really easy!!!!

Things that fly…

Seriously…  I don’t remember flies, bees, wasps and the like being such a BIG deal last year?  Is it the age this year?  She hasn’t been stung, she hasn’t been bit.  Any ideas?

It is too the point that with all the in and out we did this past weekend, we have a fly in the house and she will start whining and almost screaming it is near her.  I can’t seem to get her to understand that flies are nothing that will hurt or harm.  If this is the reaction inside, you can just imagine the reaction outside – so how do we go to the pool?  How do we play with the pool in our yard?  How do we play outside?  I just get tired of her flipping out.

Let me know if you have some good tricks or know any GREAT and mysterious way to get her to chill outside as well as inside.
