Day 4 - Halloween Pics
Neither girl wanted to “Be” anything so they went as themselves to an extent.

Regan and Ellie (the black kitty and walking happy halloween-er)
Trick Or Treating
Kind of a bust really. She was excited that her Best Friend Ellie was coming but once we started out (just went to Mother-In-Laws first), she got very quiet and didn’t seem all that interested in participating. Mom’s friend, Linda, wanted us to stop by and we did. Regan is ALWAYS quiet around Linda though. Came back home to walk around the neighborhood and it is more like carrying a 35lb bag of candy instead. Yes, we had to carry her. I think we made it to 3 houses that way and I said forget it and brought her back home.
Ellie made a killing and was AWESOME at saying Trick or Treat and getting her candy. Sam and Ellie had to go off by themselves for a while.
Then Regan decided that she wanted to help hand out candy. Of course that led back to wanting to walk around to the houses again. I told her that she could hold my hand and I wasn’t going to carry her! So we made it to 5 houses total and Regan decided that she wanted to go back home.
Oh well, Halloween isn’t for everyone, right?!
Happy Halloween
Of course it feels lame to use that as a post but hey, I’m not all the way together today.
Regan got upset last night because I told her that it was Halloween tomorrow and she started crying after I walked out of her room. Since I was standing there I went back in to find out what the problem was. “I’m scared of the dark” she said. I told her that she has never been scared of her bedroom and that she has a nightlight.
SNAP!
The 2 watt lightbulb went off and I realized what she was talking about. I ask her “Did it scare you when I brought up Halloween?” She nods her head. I tell her that we will Trick or Treat during the light and that her Best Friend Ellie is coming to Trick or Treat with her. She seemed okay with that aspect. I hope that it all works out!
Remember the National Blog Posting Month Challenge for November coming up. Kelly has gotten into the spirit of the challenge and will be joining in the fun. Thank you Em for drawing it to our attention!
