Okay, originally I received an email, however I did go searching. This is what I found:

Enter the ICHC online Poker Cats Contest!
For some reason it just had me cracking up! There are so many good ones here, please take time and enjoy some day that you are completely useless AND need a laugh.
UGH!!
Late to bed (11:30pm), early to rise (1:00am) to get little girl’s cough under control, early to rise again (5:00) to the harmonious sound of the cat puking (in the eff’in bed AGAIN). Finally wake up after all that at 7:00am. Only to find 2 more puke spots downstairs, oh and one more right in front of my closet.
Serious, serious pissed off’ed-ness this morning.
Ahhhh, my life.
So eff’in gross!
Day 20 – I DID IT!!!!
I actually lived up to my plan – AMAZING!!!
I got Regan down last night (after MAJOR meltdown mode) and moved all the chairs from the dining room to the kitchen. Got the toys picked up, moved the computer chair, and other misc. items (my cello for one) into the kitchen as well. I got the carpet shampooed and cleaned up to the best of my ability at this point, did the other half that I didn’t do Sunday night and ran over a couple spots that I wanted to again.
Of course that was the easy part. The hard part of the story comes now….
The CATS!!! Can you say ANNOYING last night??!!! So I get them corralled up the stairs and I think that they will just stay there with all the noise going on, uhm not so. Pita comes down and for some reason just has to be right in the thick of things and I don’t want them downstairs at this point. So between chasing her, stepping on her a couple times, and trying to grab for her at one point, I completely bent back my ring and pinky fingernails (I’m NOT a sissy about my nails) BUT!, I bent them back in the bed of my nail. Yeah, ouch doesn’t totally describe the feeling – especially the initial slamming of my nails into the floor as I miss the cat. Good news, only my ring finger bled. I did cut all my nails back at that point so that I wouldn’t have any snaggers and I have a band aid on my ring finger so that it doesn’t snag anything (because that is going to really hurt!)
I went ahead and vacuumed this morning so that I could get all the “stuff” out of the kitchen and back where it belonged.
Oh, and Pita and I did make up.
Day 6 – I forgot about this part…..
So part of Regan and I’s conversation regarding the cats in timeout was also that maybe the cats needed to be in diapers. I had to chuckle over that and I told her that it sounded like a really good idea and how it might be silly looking! She told me “Yeah, that would be funny!”
Day 5 – Cats in Time Out
Someone pooped right outside the bathroom door this morning. I never saw it early this morning but Regan (“eagle eye”) saw it once she was up. (Leads me to believe someone – not naming names – did it after we got back downstairs). I’m in the kitchen putting together my lunch and Regan says, “Someone pooped!” I ask her where and she says “Right here”, I follow her with the paper towel ready and pick it all up while she says again, someone pooped.
As I’m walking back into the kitchen to throw it away, she tells me, “The cats should go in time out, like when I go into time out for doing something bad”
I just about died!!! She is so right and I wish that I could do that to the cats, but uhm unfortunately I don’t think that would have the same effect on them as it does on her.
CATS
Ugh, yes I do love my cats but SERIOUSLY!!!!
Yesterday was about the 3rd time in about 2 weeks that “someone” has not been able to pee IN the litter box. Of course I don’t know who it is (other than Pita or Pocket – at least I hope). So I went to “the mattresses” last night and scrubbed the floor, the toilet, the litter boxes (yes, I have 2 for some reason – I’m sure David knows something about this though, and I just forgot). I swept, I poured new litter (that is another story all together), swept up yet again (yes, this is part of that other story).
I ended up hot, sweaty and pissy (my demeanor – before that gets taken the wrong way)after I was done.
Now I just hope that I made some kind of point to the 4 legged family members without opposable thumbs.
Secretly I told then that I would beat them to a pulp AND take them back to the pound if they kept this act up. We shall see what they decide.
(So much for the cute pictures I posted earlier this week).
Two Pics
Granted this is not why I feel that a camera is a necessity for the changes that occur every 6 months, however they ended up being my subjects one night and I did get a couple shots (about 80 between the 2 cats) that were really sharp looking to me.
Enjoy.
This was the first night we had the camera and I do have some of Regan now. Just haven’t downloaded them!! Hope to do that this week as I think that I have to learn really quick how to add a video to my blog as Regan is really getting the hang of Hopscotch.
Stay tuned.
