Lazy Day

While it was nice to some what lounge, I have no idea why I feel tired still.

We had a good day.  Hit the coffee shop, hit Borders - again, Whoo Hoo for Gift Cards.  Regan aquired 4 new books and I got a Pre-K book for her just to see how she does with it.  However tonight she was showing off a bit and actually wrote a couple letters on her own without the Dora mats.

We came home and played with Moon Sand - can you say M.E.S.S.??  It was messier than Daddy thought it was going to be (he got it for her for Christmas).  It was fun and neat but it was messier than play-doh.  At least we now know that it probably would do better outside.  We were smart enough to at least do it on the kitchen floor.

Naptime for Regan was Daddy’s time to nap as well.  I went to the library and grocery shopped.  She was still out for a while though.

Had dinner, had a bath (Regan, not me!), Daddy read and sang to her.  I cleaned out the litter box, and got back in the laundry swing of things and got all the trash together.

I just have to finish the laundry but books are calling my name.  Maybe I will read while the rest of the laundry finishes.

Day 10 - Cutting it close.

I know, I’m pushing today’s post but I have a really good reason (technically a couple).

I know that I mentioned on Day 3 about my craft shows for this season.  Well, the thing is that I sell crocheted scarves for adults and kids.  So we sign up for craft shows prior to the holidays and keep our fingers crossed.

Today, I can’t say was a bust but thank goodness for friends.  I have a friend that is a graduate of this high school that we were at today and I had told her that I would be selling there and she said she would stop by.  She said that she wanted a scarf but seriously things are just as tight for her (if not more in some ways) as they are for me.  Well she bought one of the high school colored scarves that I did especially for the show today.  So THANK YOU Brandy (I hope you have a chance to check out my blog soon!!!).

So…. craft show this morning.  Mother-In-Law took Regan to her house for nap time (left around 12:20).  I packed up with Brandy’s help (2:30-ish), brought MIL’s crafts back to her car, took my scarves home, took out the table I borrowed from work, went to get “C” batteries for Regan’s nighttime aquarium (thank you Pam, she still LOVES it!).  Picked Regan up from MIL’s. David was kind enough to play with Regan tonight so that I could have a little me time that was spent with my step dad for dinner at an all-you-can-eat Catfish or Shrimp event for the community.  So I got about 3 hours me time.  David put Regan to bed (I did get home in time to get hugs and kisses).  I’m helping another friend with his resume - just updating basically.  Finally (but not least), I got to post. 

Yes, you can say I’m just a little busy lately!
