SBD Day 8 – Weigh In
Okay, let me just get this out of the way, Total loss for Week 1, Phase 1: 6.2lbs
Not bad.
However, I’m getting just a little frustrated, let me explain before you go on to tell me that it has only been a week and la dee da. This is the thing, and it is kind of a weird/bad thing, I’m really only looking to lose about 10lbs give or take. Ultimately I have really lost about 1/2 of where I want to be and that is good. I know this. However, I have it in my mind that this week coming up is going to suck because the amount of weight that I want off is really so little. You know how those last 5 lbs or whatever it may be for you, just like it where they are (stuck to your ass)?! Yeah, that is what I’m thinking MAY happen. I don’t know but the thought has crossed my mind.
Now, let me say this, Candid Chatter had a great comment about how I know that it really should be about how i feel and how my clothes fit me and I know this and things are starting to come together. But that lovely “woman” side of my thinking is overruling at this point. I will get back to my reality side soon I hope.
Let me also say that it is really funny how your body really likes to hang out at the even 10’s. Do you know what I mean? For example: You weigh 186 (not my starting weight for you inquiring minds) – your body seems to take forever to decide to get under 180. And the process continues through each 10 lb increment. That is how I feel right now. Oh and next week is lovely “visitation” rights. So, I’m sure this will be a trying week for me.

Good luck. You’re right about the last few pounds. Stubborn stinking fat cells. And I had to laugh about the even numbers. That’s true too. Well, you’re almost there so “la dee da and la dee da and la dee da”. LOL!

The 1st week is harder than the 2nd week! You’re going to do fine. Who cares what you weigh as long as your clothes fit well and you feel good and are healthy! You go girl!
