Good Day so far….
Seriously, this day COULD have made me FLIP.COMPLETELY.OUT.
But you know, it has really worked out well for me today. I have enjoyed work, I have done a fairly good job today (haven’t made any mistakes, YET). I feel accomplished and I still have just a little bit more to do to be “officially” done for the day.
The only thing left now is to have fun with Miss Thang. uhmmmmm, what to do, what to do?
Maybe we will have eggs tonight and she can help make them……what have you let your 3 year old help with? (This is even for you all that have grown kids too! - They were 3……ONCE!!)
Too late I am sure for tonight’s dinner… but the girls help with adding ingredients to marinades, salad dressings, any baked item, and they help set the table
Aubrey LOVES making her own tacos (which is me putting out all the indredients including the cooked meat and her filling up her taco).
Brianna (3 1/2) and Jeremy (2) both help make brownies and cakes. They like to sweep the floors with the broom and follow behind me wiping the furniture with paper towels when I clean. They can clean their rooms and the play room and you’d never know that a 3 yo and a 2 yo just did that. They put everything where it goes and it amazes even me. I let them brush my hair (ouch!) and try to brush their teeth with me following up afterwards. It is fun to watch them learn and to see how eager they are to help. I love it! I should remember this when they are teenagers and won’t get out of bed until noon and won’t clean to save their lives.
