Conversation went something like this:
Regan: Mommy, is that a police car?
Me: Yes, good job.
Regan: Who is in the police car?
Me: Hopefully a policeman (I didn’t say woman but I was just thinking along the lines of someone official and real).
Regan: What do policemen do?
Me: Well, they help if there is an accident, they pull you over if you are speeding (thanks goodness she hasn’t had to experience this fun…yet), they can help in a lot of ways.
Regan: (Spotting another car coming up the ramp) There is another one! Why are there so many?
Me: Shift change and they have to make sure that there are no accidents (with donuts).
(As we pull into Cille’s, and another parent is there that is a police man)
Regan: Why is there a police car here?
Me: Paul’s daddy is a police man.
(I think she started to circle around again, but I was keeping her busy with getting out of the car) Gotta love the mind of a 3 year old.
They are so innocent and point blank. I do love it. It’s great being a mom!
Heidi
I am cracking up you told her about speeding tickets
Em: Well I figure…she is already told me that ‘when she gets older she is going to drive and I’m riding in the backseat’ that I might just want to throw that out there. I just don’t want to be the example right now!
Ali – how do you get videos on your blog? That’s the one thing I miss about Blogspot — I could embed videos there very easily.
Heidi
Heidi – unfortunately you have to either use YouTube or (can’t remember-it is on the video option when posting a new blog for the day), I just went ahead and started an acct with YT and upload my videos to that acct then I copy and paste the embed code once it is processed and ‘live’ on YT. Call me and I will walk you through it. (I tried to leave my videos on YT private but I don’t know if they really are or not.)
E-mail me your phone number. I have a class tonight so I probably won’t call until tomorrow. It will be nice to chit chat again anyway. You’re the best. Thank you!!
