Well, we will now be involved in Little Gym’s Jazzy Bug classes. This class teaches Tap and Ballet. I had so much fun just watching her. Got some great shots but I know that I don’t have a lot of room left here. I will share - one way or another!

This was ‘Heel to Toe’. Miss LeighAnn said that she did a fantastic job on this skill.

I have ballet pics but I just LOVED this expression of taking it all in and being very into it!

I took Spanish in High School and College. I have no IDEA how I got through the placement test for College but I was put in 201 right off the bat - GREAT!!!! Overall, I really do love the language but my high school teachers went from GREAT to REALLY CRAPPY.
So I love Dora and sharing the language with Regan. We haven’t been watching a lot of Dora or Diego lately but obviously it has stuck with Regan.
We got home the other night and Regan wanted to play with her Elmo umbrella outside. I’m fine with this as she is loving this umbrella right now. So she tells David and I that we are Gate Blockers. So David whispers to me (we were told we weren’t allowed to speak, “Gate blockers don’t talk”), “You know that I’m not moving when she comes back up this way”. She mosies (sp?) on back and stands in front of us and says “Abre!” David totally caved. He had to give her props for using spanish.
I was thoroughly impressed that she remembered the word…..and the meaning for that matter.

So I know that I have talked about David butt before but this was so worth the post that I couldn’t resist.
So David asked Regan to help him off the couch tonight (he has been working very hard getting the walls ready for my painting party). She pulled and pulled and he finally made it to the floor (on all fours). Regan proceeds to climb on Daddy’s back. She finally gets settled and David farts and speeds out of the ‘gates’.
Of course this got Regan giggling and I was rolling so she told Daddy to get on her. I made a farting noise (with my mouth, come on! I’m a lady - tee hee) and she speeds away with Daddy right over top of her.
You probably had to be here.

Well, the book may have been calling my name but I called a friend that I hadn’t talked to in a while. We have texted recently but it just isn’t the same. So we caught up with each other for and hour and a half. It ended up being a later night than expected, but I’m okay with that.
Oh, and I still had laundry to finish up. I did it and I put the washed clothes from the last load in the dryer this morning. Yes, I actually did get up on time

While it was nice to some what lounge, I have no idea why I feel tired still.
We had a good day. Hit the coffee shop, hit Borders - again, Whoo Hoo for Gift Cards. Regan aquired 4 new books and I got a Pre-K book for her just to see how she does with it. However tonight she was showing off a bit and actually wrote a couple letters on her own without the Dora mats.
We came home and played with Moon Sand - can you say M.E.S.S.?? It was messier than Daddy thought it was going to be (he got it for her for Christmas). It was fun and neat but it was messier than play-doh. At least we now know that it probably would do better outside. We were smart enough to at least do it on the kitchen floor.
Naptime for Regan was Daddy’s time to nap as well. I went to the library and grocery shopped. She was still out for a while though.
Had dinner, had a bath (Regan, not me!), Daddy read and sang to her. I cleaned out the litter box, and got back in the laundry swing of things and got all the trash together.
I just have to finish the laundry but books are calling my name. Maybe I will read while the rest of the laundry finishes.

You have to LOVE these things!! Seriously.
My daughter is finally ace-ing the potty training. I never pushed and she did revert for a while where she didn’t even want to sit on the potty. Well, waking hours are a DREAM now. She goes by herself if we are home and she will let me know if she has to go when we are out of the house. Nap and bedtime are still Pull-Up land but I’m F.I.N.E. (not Aerosmith style) with all this. Ultimately, I’m ecstatic!
I had bought undies for her quite a while back and now she is using them and doing a great job. She has only had 3 pee accidents (2 because she was outside playing and not paying attention. Hopefully as this becomes a more practiced thing with the weather being soooooo cold, those accidents will not be occuring any longer). No poop accidents and I hope that track record remains!
Anyway, back to the undies, I bought a pack of 6 and a Dora pack of 3. 9 undies, that should do us well. Uhm, no so much… The babysitter has 2 pairs in case of accidents and it seems like I still have to do Regan’s laundry every 4th day just to have undies in her drawer. Did the washer eat them? Did they shrink up so much that they imploded? WHO KNOWS?????? I can’t figure it out so for the past week I have been telling Regan that we can go and get undies with her Wal-Mart gift card.
She finally wanted to go today. We went, she picked out what she wanted (from what she saw there because she really wanted some Elmo undies. Would it be okay for her to wear boys undies if it came down to tantrum?? - Thank goodness I didn’t have to worry about that), we got some other things that we needed at the house and we got to the register. She put her undies and Elmo umbrella on the counter, she handed over her card and paid for all but $4.00 of her purchases. I’m all for paying $4 bucks for what she didn’t have!!!
Love Gift Cards, she also has a Borders one - Can’t wait for her to realize that!!!

So you know how I said it was starting out good. It got WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better! This is actually really bad for us as a company but as an individual you really just have to appreciate today.
So the plant blew a transformer! Out.nada.nothing. No electricity, no pressroom humming, no phones connection. Thank goodness for battery back up on the laptops but seriously, the network is down and there is nothing that we can do.
I left at 2:20. So it was like early release from school. Got the upstairs hallway steamed cleaned and drying. Got to ROCK out to some VERY LOUD music in the house and clean up just a tad. (Not too much, you don’t wanna ruin the good-ness of the day!!)

Well at least from my own duldrums. I think that sometimes we all can get caught up in the now and the what if’s and just life. That is when you need your garden smelled. Personally I like ’smelling the roses’, but seriously, fresh flowers make you think of spring and warm and just happy. Granted I didn’t get myself any flowers but I did sleep fairly well and ya know, I just HATE feeling the way I did. I think that I need that big reality check every once in a while though. Kind of like you don’t know what is good unless you experience the bad. Okay, enough cliche sayings for the day.
I did want to share this: This morning Regan was a GRUMP. So I got in her face and was asking gently “Are we a grumpy head today?” and she rolled away from me covering her ears and making mewing noises (ya know the ones, very annoying and you can’t understand a word of it). So I did what any caring, loving mother would do - I started to tickle her. Of course it didn’t work at first but I got her to giggle finally. Oh and she likes to run (seriously people, take a look at this and you get the image) full tilt into you now, especially when you are sitting so you have no leverage to stay sitting upright. So she was getting ready to run into me (picture the bull’s fore foot rubbing the ground - SNORT! - giggle) and she said: “Seady, Rhett, Go!” - I had to laugh at that alone!! The next time she started from the hallway and she said it right that time.
Have a great Friday - I’m going to try to!
ps: THANK GOD for friends who know when to bring you your Snickers coffee for a Friday morning! BONUS to a great starting Friday!

Thursday Blah’s. Nothing much to share and nothing much to say. I guess you could say ‘I suck right now for Blog365′, but I would have to agree.
Tired, a little stressed over things in general, work has been interesting (Read More….). (Look under the 1/21/08 information). Life in general is feeling like a whirl wind right now. I guess I’m just hanging on for the ride at this point.
Blah’s…..well no wonder!
