Hives…. :(

Well here are a couple shots, poor baby.

That was at about 6:30 tonight – I know that I had the wrong angle,so her face is really shiny and you can’t really see the affected areas.  The next one was around 7:30 tonight, just an hour later.

I have one of her back but it didn’t turn out as good as the front one from around 6:30 as well.

I feel so bad for her.  I did try to remember that she didn’t take her full dose this morning, she said it burned her tongue?!  Tonight it went down good though.  I’m hoping for really good results again in the morning.

From my understanding it will take about a week for them to disappear. I don’t think that she rolled in it, however I assume that if she gets really warm playing outside that they may flash a bit more – plus w/ only a half dose yesterday am…this was the combination. The best idea that we can come up with after talking about it some more is that she was rolling in the grass at the sitter’s.

What was she allergic too? I have VERY similar pictures of Kate from last Spring when she got Suntan lotion put on for the first time for the season. She had them from head to toe like Regan has on her face. We still don’t know 100% what made her break out though.

Jenn: It was never determined what she was allergic too however I believe that Cille treated her yard and it was part of the chemical and grass that made her break out – she hasn’t even broken out again. I know that we have rolled around in our grass since.

Our son has had this twice.

We think it is cause by Mountain Dew, googling this, seems like a common source of Hives.

So if she is having that, keep her away.

Dale thanks for commenting. I have only ever let her try soda maybe 2 times (seriously). She doesn’t like the bubbling feeling in her mouth. But thanks for suggesting that for others who have checked out all my hiving posts! :)
